Well now...

What is the deal with exact change? Why is it so gratifying to pay with exact change? When you do, it's like, ha, I win. I paid you only exactly what I owed, nothing more. And Ha! I have less change in my wallet. That is, until you buy something else and you no longer have misc. one dollar bills and coins because you used them at the last stop. So now you have to break a 20! Oh no, no one likes to break the 20 dollar bill. If you do, it's like you spent the whole thing. Wierd. What's up with that?

I am crashing from an ultra busy week last week. My sister was in town to visit me and my other sister. We had a baby shower for Victoria. That was so fun. Minor child mishaps aside. Erick made a last minute trip to Arizona to help his dad fly home. His dad had some problems with his vision and couldn't see well enough to get home. So Erick went and helped him out. While Erick was gone, I dragged the kids everywhere and tortured them with photo snapping. I also watched my sister's kids so she could go visit a friend before she has her baby. That was fun but exhausting. Amidst it all I managed to get all my homework in on time.

Yesterday I forced my sister to come over, eat lunch, open her baby shower gift, and let me take pregnancy pictures of her! I know, I am so mean right? There are no limits for me when it comes to getting my homework done. So I made her a baby album. A very simple one to just record the dates of different milestones. I used some fun pink paislee products from my kit from Paper Popsicles.

Here is my pride and joy, but not my baby! Hehe. This photo is one I took of Victoria. I am very proud of it, and thanks to a few newly aquired skills, I managed to make a watermark on it. (That is the part of the photo that says i took the pic, for all those blog photo stealing bandits out there).

So last week was portraits, thus the preggo photo shoot with my dear sis. (Ps. she is due in August with her 5th baby! I am so stoked to live near her and help her out when the bambino comes.) So here are a few more shots that I took.

So how is that for getting caught up? Nice right? Now leave me alone. hehe.
