Before I forget...

I made this cutie card last night as part of the weekly sketch over at Paper Popsicles this week. I love their ideas for cards, its a simple way to keep my creativity going. If you have time, you may just want to stop by their blog. They are giving away a free digital design starting on Fridays!! Cool!! Gotta love that.

My sister and I have decided to commit to a scrap project everyday for 30 days. Starting yesterday. So this card was the first one, and today I did another card this evening. I am loving this idea because its a great way to use up my stash.

I am into these little projects lately, and getting organized. Yesterday I also made back pack name tags for the kids for school this fall. They can work as zipper pulls. I laminated them since I still had my laminater out.

Oh and another part of getting organized from the book I mentioned in yesterday's post...

I figured out I scrap by color. Not always, but its usually where I start. So... I reorganized my supplies to fit this scrap style. My alphabets and stickers and rubons are filed in file folders with my scrap papers, by color. With tabs! Then I sorted my 12x12 papers and also put them in order by color as well. Same thing with my flowers and other embellishments. This was such a fun and gratifying project. Plus, I pulled out a lot of stuff for the kids to use. (Ella made her first scrapbook today!)

So go get enspired, and do something you have been meaning to do.
