Mostly it feels like Christmas because I am so glad to be done with summer school! Yay! I had some random weirdness with the professors, but got a couple A's so I am happy. Also, I have all my general ed credits done with.
Plus, the kids and I are going to take a trip to Fort Wayne tomorrow and hang out with family for a few days. I am looking forward to spending some time with them before we start our busy fall school year. We will help out Grandma Henrie and hopefully spend some time enjoying my hometown. We will miss Erick though, but I hope he takes advantage of a quiet empty house for a few days to relax a little. He deserves it, he has been putting in a lot of extra time at work lately.
I am continuing to work on my scrap challenge that Lucy and I are working on... I think I am going to have to take some scrap stuff with me, in order to keep up on the goal of 30 projects in 30 days... or maybe I will make several things in advance??? Not sure. I made a couple cards yesterday, and here is one of them. Yes it's a Christmas card. The ICS challenge Blog had a sketch challenge that required us to make a Christmas card. Very fun!
I am looking forward to enjoying the next three weeks of my summer vacation! The kids go back in two weeks! So nuts! Lots to think about with the fall, Jed going all day, he is continuing some testing and evaluating which is a tad overwhelming. Ella going every afternoon, and me, in class 4 days a week, 2 of those will be twice a day! Wow! So lots to prepare for. For now, we are going to just relax and enjoy the sunshine!
