A couple cards

Can you tell I am making up for lost blog time? I do try. This semester is a breath of fresh air compared to the stress I had last semester. It was so nuts, and this time, I have had a nice pace of: busy, slow, busy, slow. Which works for me. Anyway, I am doing a few different online challenges to get back in the swing of things. I did a card for the ICS sketch blog. They are so fun and quick and always get my creativity flowing. Here is my take on Dawn's sketch:

And then for a challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges, I made a card, using green, and the word 'luck'. Both of these cards were so fun to play around with and make.

Today the kids are home from school. Its been an interesting day! It started with me forgetting about the dog being outside, and she of course found a pile of dirt ( I HOPE) and required a shower in the bathtub this morning. Which is so fun with an 75lb dog. Then I realized the front door had been left ajar all morning, which explains why I was cold. Then Jed and I had to hunt for the cat, only to confirm that he was out in the driveway. Most of the events of the day happened before 10am!

Now the kids are content doing watercolor pictures. I love those! Mostly mess-free. Erick came home early today. He racks up extra time with late night phone calls so he came home to hang out. (which translates to sleep on the couch) He is "watching" Superman, the original movie. Such a good classic. I get to head off to school to work on fun Web design stuff. I could use a nap too before I go...

Have a wonderful Monday!

OH, and I must must must mail my first card order from my Etsy shop today. I will do that on my school, I promise Cherri!

Doesn't it seem like everything happens at once and the nothing. I wish the busy would spread out. Sounds like a crazy day for you.
