Luke's Cars

Luke loves cars. Jed went through this phase. I was sad when it ended. It didn't last long. For Luke, it seems to be all he does. We got this tool table, and he cleared out the tools and parks the cars on it. Cracks me up. He carries them around the house, and we let him take one to bed if he insists. Then 10 minutes after he is in bed, we hear it drop on the hardwood floor. So silly. Luke is at a wild age. I haven't decided on what my least favorite childhood stage is, sometimes I think it is the 18 month to 3 year mark. Which is most of my kids right now! ha ha! The frustration for me comes from those tantrums that come about, usually because of a communication barrier between mom and the kid who doesn't have enough words yet. So I always marvel at their little routines and systematic play. How can they come up with these play ideas and preferences, and still not be able to say, "I want milk, not juice." Crazy li'l brains!

The 2-3 year old age is the worst for me too. They have their moments when they are so cute but more of the moments are not so fun!
I wonder when they turn teenagers if we wish they were 2 again???
