Star Wars, the universal connector of all people...

Someone gave Erick a Star Wars t-shirt, are you sitting there wondering if it was you? It wasn't. Either way, it's a tad too small for him, so I confiscated it, yes my wardrobe is that sad. Not that it's a bad shirt, just not my taste so much. So I wear it... a lot. But I also don't get out much. I happened to have it on yesterday. Yesterday Erick came home early because he is a tad under the weather. I decided to run Jed to the eye doctor in preparation for Kindergarten. So someone there mentioned, "nice shirt." I laughed, said thanks, and said, "it's my husbands" like, don't think I am the fan boy. So we went about our eye appt, turns out I need glasses. Jed has to go back, he has a slight prescription and they need to dilate his eyes so we will go back with some muscle(Erick) just in case he puts up a big fight. Then we will know if it warrents specs or not.

The dr was right by Starbucks, and Jed said he was hungry, so I took him over to grab a rice crispie treat so I could shop for frames. The chic there said, "I like your shirt." Ok, thanks. Moving on.

So then we went home. Later we went to Best Buy as the fam to check out the Apple IMACs for school. The sales guy came up and said, "Hey I see your shirt there, I have to show you this." and busts out his phone, that has a pic of some people and he's like, see that, he's on your shirt, look. I look over at Erick and I'm like, do you know? and Erick pipes up, "oh yah, so and so, he plays Lando." So a few minutes later, some other guy walks by, "nice shirt" oh ok, getting wierd now. Then yet, another few minutes later, "hey, like your shirt!" I am so confused! So I had to ask the expert, Erick, what is up? Is this the deal? He is like, "yah, its Star Wars, everyone loves Star Wars." (instert twilight zone music) I don't think I could get more notice wearing my bathing suit! I did get my hair cut, so hm... maybe I just look hot in t-shirts, and guys are not afraid to compliment me in front of my hot, muscle-y hubby. Wierd.

I got my hair cut last weekend for Mothers Day. It was a wonderful treat. So much fun to do something for me. I think it's my all time fave cut. I have had similar cuts, but this time the woman really took her time to make it look so cute. I had a few highlights added and love those too! Between the hair and the glasses, I will be all set for school! Which starts next week! yay!
