A Little Birdie Told Me.

Made this cute little diddy for my sister who just birthed her fourth and final (bum bum bum) hatchling. I made about 30 of them and had so much fun. My pal Kelly hooked me up with some supplies. I used a watercolor ink technique to color the bird. I also embossed the little guy. Red is my sister's "signature color" so I had fun making these. You can read about her bundle of Joy here. Congrats Heath Family!

Several people have been asking about Jed. Remember this post? So a quick update on him. He has seen the dr and we had our meeting regarding his developmental issues. He is having some challenges learning and retaining information in school. He gets to go to First grade in the fall, but the process of determining all that is going on will take a bit of time. He is undergoing some testing to determine what kind of learning disabilities he has. —Big Sigh...— I am planning on getting our own testing done while the school does theirs. Not that I don't trust them, but well, I am just that way. Erick and I are not too concerned. We have some thoughts on what is going on, so we will continue to help him the best we can and seek help the best we can.

Meanwhile, I am trying to sort out the Summer and Fall semesters for school. In the Fall I will likely need to take 3 on-campus classes. I am nervous about how this will effect the lives of my chilllins. I am hopeful it all works out as it should.

But in immediate news: Erick turns the big 3—0 on Friday! I have some AWESOME surprises planned for him and I am hoping he thinks they are as cool as I do. So stay tuned for many great updates in the coming weeks!

Becca, they turned out SO cute! You can borrow my supplies anytime if you're going to come up with great results like this. Do you want to help me with the 80 wedding invites I have to make?
