It's here! The new and improved, upgraded version of me, 3.0. No, I haven't had a boob job, but that is on the list... I had all these ambitions of what I would be like at 30, what I hoped to look like and feel like... Some of those things have not arrived with the date of my birth. I will check the mail later though, maybe there will be a box of extra hours in the day with my name on it. However, lots of things are here. I am definitely older, and also wiser. I do know what I want to be when I grow up, besides a mom, a graphic designer. My body has been sent through the wringer, but I still like it. It shows the marks of a weathered mother, a woman who has used her body to its highest potential. I managed to birth 3 perfectly healthy children. Now that my years of procreating are done, I get the chance to give myself my body back. I want more energy, and less muffin top. I am excited to embrace the 3.0 version of myself, the good, the bad, and the somewhere in the middle.

I love the post. Version 3.0 sounds so much cooler than saying 30. And I can totally relate to most of what you said. Getting older is not fun. Although being wiser is great.
