Wow! I scrapped.

Friday night I went to a crop at our local scrap store with my 3 scrap pals, Tricia, Kelly, and Vicky. We had such a great time. I have not done any layouts since the summer, so it was wierd to scrap, and it's not exactly like riding a bike, you have to get back into it, but I had a lot of fun anyway. I got three layouts done and used all the photos I had printed... so I consider that a success. I scrapped Jed and Ella on their first days of school. I also did a quick page of Luke of some photos of him in motion...

On the above page of Ella, I used Pink Paislee paper, KI lace, and some cool Fancy Pants felt.

On the pages below I did a two page layout of Jed and his first day. He is growing up so fast! The supplies were primarily from a theme pack I purchased from Paper Popsicles.

And below, Mr. Luke on the move. Thanks to Kelly for the suggested title. Luke really does live his little life in the fast lane! The stinker.

It was so nice to scrap for a change. I sure do miss it! But it was even more fun to be out with friends and have a laughing good time! I would LOVE to make this a monthly-ish thing! It is becoming the only time I scrap, so I need it!

I am half way done with the Fall semester of school. wow. It has been a crazy time, but I am still just loving all of it. I met with an advisor this week and already know what classes I will take in the Spring and Fall of next year. I am going to take a typography class in the Spring with the teacher I have for my live class right now, which will be great because she is a very good teacher. For my Design class I had to set up a special blog to showcase some work and that has been fun. There is a really cool site out there, tumblr.com, for blogging. Click here if you want to peek at my assignments. They may not make a lot of sense if you don't know the assignment, but you can at least see what I am up to.

I had so much fun. We do need to do it monthly. Next time let me know what you're going to work on and I can bring a list of titles for you to choose from.
I'm so glad you spelled scrapping right. :-)
